HEXHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL

poster In the 80s and 90s Hexham had a renowned Jazz Festival, now thanks to the Hexham Rotary Club this annual event may be revived. Andrew Rigg and Roy Dallison, the President and immediate Past President respectively put their heads together and, with the enthusiastic support of the Club, have produced an excellent programme.
The Festival will take place over the week end of the 15th to the 17th May 2020 and features some outstanding names as you can see from the flyers that are displayed. The event will centre around the Hexham Abbey and tickets are already on sale. The event will be widely advertised in the surrounding area and to be sure of a ticket you need to book early.

The cost is £12 for each day, or £20 for a Friday and Saturday combined ticket. For events on the Sunday you pay at the door. There will be some discounts at local hotels and restaurants on production of a valid ticket.

The event will feature among others, Jo Harrop, Hot Club du Nord, Paul Edis, Graeme Wilson, Nathan Lawson & Nick Branton Trio.

All profits will go to Hexham Rotary’s Charity Fund and will then benefit our fund for Cancer Research, our Emergency and Disaster Fund and other local charities.
